The Design Institute of Australia, South Australia Chapter Awards have acknowledged the creativity, insight and energy saving device initiatives of the states newly fitted out Public Trustees office.
The new office has been awarded the People’s Choice Award through its connection with the South Australian community and what the new design represents.
For the local community, the impact the services the Public Trustees office can have on peoples lives has been a winning factor of the overall design. The entire design covers four floors with another two fitted out ‘front of house’ tenancies.
The theme of the design was to elaborate on the design of life of its continuous transient cycle, furthering this was the incorporation of the seasons of nature through the adaptation of natural surroundings such as leaves and flowers, sand and wind. Colours were strongly used throughout the design.
Supporting the connection to the Mother Nature, the design has been created in mind of achieving a 5 Star Green Star Rating, through various energy saving device initiatives.
The fit out was created by architecture and design practice Hames Sharley.
